A more useful trial version - Wednesday, September 24, 2008

 

Responding to customer feedbacks, we are changing the limitations on the trial versions of SmartRss:

  • Start from v4.0.3189, we only limit SmartRss trial to store 5 channels, no longer the "5 items per channel" limit as in older versions.
  • All other functionalities are enabled, including save settings.

BeetzStream Releases SmartRss v3.2 updates for Windows Mobile PocketPC and SmartPhone - Saturday, April 26, 2008

 

BeetzStream has released v3.2 of SmartRss for Windows Mobile 5.0/6.0 (WM5/6) Pock PC (PPC) and SmartPhone (SP) devices.
The new versions of SmartRss are built against .NET compact framework 2.0, taking advantages of the many new features available in the new framework, resulting a faster and stable application.
SmartRss for WM5 PPC v3.2 contains minor bug fixes and stream lined core code.
SmartRss for WM5 SP v3.2 is newly ported from the PPC version, which gives the application a intuitive new UI, letting users take advantages of their new WM5 SmartPhone devices.

  • Which edition of SmartRss should I choose? - Friday, March 21, 2008

    A lot of users have asked the question "which edition of SmartRss should I choose, Pocket PC edition or Smart Phone edition?"  The confusion seemed coming from the word "Smart Phone".  As more and more Pocket PC devices have phone functions, are they Pocket PCs or Smart Phones?

    The following simple method seems working well to answer this question:

    Looking for the "Start" menu on your device, if it's in the top left corner, choose the Pocket PC edition; if it's in the lower left corner, use the Smart Phone edition.
